I love the picture of you with the light coming through the blinds. It reminds me of a photo by Robert Mapplethorpe. I love the way the lines cross over the figure. I do wish you had pushed it a little further, by removing some of your clothes which can be distracting.
ReplyDeleteNice work capturing your day.
I like the picture of your hair after a shower. I like all the different shades of color and all the lines that your hair creates. There's some really interesting negative space too. I like how you chose not to include your face, but instead you included enough of your forehead that we can tell what the image is.
ReplyDelete"12:54pm I might live at the library" is my favorite because of the because as i look at it longer and longer the wall seams to bend with the line of the stairs.
ReplyDelete"8:55am Out of the shower, a bit late for class" is a very interesting shot. Most of us posted some sort of shower shot, and I thought you presented in a very interesting way. The lines you heart creates are great and you really get drawn into the colors.
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot of interesting compositions and I really like the variance of things that you used for light sources.
ReplyDelete"9:55 EXhausted", beautiful color balance from inside to outside. Has a Gregory Crewdson lighting effect.
ReplyDelete"I might live at the library" is a very interesting shot to look at. It is abstract in the shapes and lines you captured. I like how the center of the photo has the most color and is framed by a beige color
ReplyDeleteMy favorite picture in your series is "love the way the sun bathes my room in the afternoon". I love the shadows on your face and throughout the whole picture. The lighting is also really awesome. I also like how your not looking at the camera but instead looking out the window
ReplyDelete7:16 Making Chai Tea. I really like this. The composition and the clarity are beautiful.
ReplyDelete12:54pm I might live at the library
ReplyDeleteIt's hard not to take a THOUSAND images of the library. It has unique details everywhere, but this is a new one! I think its a fantastic composition, and I enjoyed the complexity of your other images.
"9:55pm Exhausted, went to bed early" is y favorite photo from the sequence. I like how the figure is placed under the window and the night sky is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe dumpster picture is my favorite. I like the way the sun is glazing across the ridges on the top of the dumpster and the building to the right. I also like the bold "cardboard only" popping out of the picture.
ReplyDelete"11:59pm Sleeping, using the alarm clock as a light source, hence blue tint" the color of the lighting in the photo and use of blur captured my eye the most.. i like how the blackness of the room helps to draw the eye in..the shape is even repeated in the tank top so it looks like the darkness is enveloping the photo. The way the body is positioned and blurred emphasizes the only thing that is in focus: the hand
ReplyDeleteMy favorite picture is the one with the coffee lids spilt all over the floor. It took me a minute to realize that you were looking down at the floor, because for a second I thought that the rug was the sign for Zeke's. I love that you ran for your camera as soon as you spilt the lids. I also love the omelette and summer squash picture because the colors in it are awesome.
ReplyDeletemy favorite one is "10:55 pm: rear window view" i like the charcoal coloration of the walls on the top and bottom of the frame that compliments the blurred view of what's going on outside. the simplicity of the colors looking out the window are nice, especially blurred. i think thats why im drawn to this photo the most, since the framing of the walls are sharp, the contrast of the main focus being blurred is soft and doesnt take away from the image
ReplyDeleteI agree with your favorite photo. I think this is a good composition yourself. I like the binds and the effect it gives off. It's such a simple photo that it's amazing how one factor can change the entire photograph
